“We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community… Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.”
At Creative Computer, we have always believed in supporting the local businesses that make up our unique and inspiring community, which is why this year we decided to enter the 2015 Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off!
We had a blast brushing up on our cooking skills, practicing teamwork and getting to know our neighbors. Taking home third place was just the cherry on top of a fun-filled and exciting day!
It was a great day full of lots of wind, laughter and great food. Laurel Main Street did a great job of organizing such a delicious and entertaining event.
We enjoyed seeing lots of familiar faces and even meeting some new entrepreneurs, like the Knight Butcher, that are looking to call Downtown Laurel home.
Anna did a great job keeping us all on task. Our winning third place is all thanks to her mom’s delicious chili recipe, which we did decide to spice up a bit!
We would also like to say a huge thanks to Jessica Welborn for our custom built sign, which we are proud to say has found a permanent home in the lobby of our office.
We enjoyed seeing all of you there and can’t wait to participate again next year!
